OCURINSE is building out the official site for the 3D printable Emergency Eyewash Station.

This is an open-source design that fits a standard water bottle and is intended for rapid eye irrigation in first aid settings, including after exposure to chemical irritants seen in public in recent months

I’m Ryan. I designed an open-source, 3D printable eye-rinsing device for rapid deployment in hazardous environments and areas of conflict, a stop-gap tool to provide immediate relief and help someone reach proper medical care fast. I started this after seeing a protester shot in the face at point-blank range with a pepper round. People exercising their right to speak up deserve basic first aid when help is not close. To keep the design free and accessible, I’m pursuing patent protection so it can stay open. Support funds a professional prior art search, a one-year preliminary filing, and the lab equipment and safety trials needed to validate the device and reduce risk.
